"Captured immediately by BRUCH’s cavernous, enveloping and cleansing vocals (gently reminiscent of Aurora), I’m absolutely enchanted by the palpable atmosphere that she creates. As the textures and sheer aural impact develop and brilliantly original percussive layers are introduced, the song builds to a stunning and truly inspired climax." Will O'Brien - ISLAND RECORDS A&R

PRESS RELEASE | Artist: BRUCH | Track: We Don’t Care About You |Release Date: November 1st 2019 Website: www.bruchmusic.com Press Contact: Clare 07447446061
BRUCH’s ‘We Don’t Care About You’ is a narrative on today's sociopolitical affairs, the climate crisis & lack of action on a corporate & governmental level. It is a protest against abuse of power & a cry for voices to be heard. BRUCH is a passionate advocate for individual responsibility and group impact in the fight against global warming and ecological breakdown, and at nineteen years old, has recently been awarded the 2019 RoundTable Global Youth Award for Environmental Innovation for her awareness work for the climate through her music, and her new initiative, ‘The Solution’ which aims to inform and encourage every one of us to take action, no matter how small, towards improving our planet and protecting it for future generations.Receiving multiple BBC Introducing airplays so far, and having been featured in a Live Lounge and interview for Eagle Radio (Surrey and Hampshire), ‘We Don’t Care About You’ continues BRUCH’s journey to highlight our planet and its inhabitants through her music, following Empty Land and CROWN. which speak of the possible future devastation of our earth, and the latter poses the questions which may arise within an argument between Mother Nature and the human race. BRUCH will also be performing her latest single at the BBC’s Music Industry event, Introducing Live, at Tobacco Dock London on November 1st, the day of its official release. BRUCH is openly fuelled by autism. She is a proud owner of her Asperger’s Syndrome, and speaks openly about this online with her followers from around the world, whom call themselves her ‘Wanderers’. Being a strong follower of the Swedish eco activist, Greta Thunberg, BRUCH recently tweeted in support of her, against those who spoke negatively, choosing to pick on her autism and claiming she is ill. BRUCH’s message was picked up by BRUT America News and she presented a piece to camera highlighting the issues young people can experience growing up on the autistic spectrum, and how it can be a superpower given the right conditions. The video has since been shared hundreds of times online, and received over 200k views.

Sometimes, music can reach further than mere spoken words. Her music blurs the lines between electronica, and alt-pop, with an almost Nordic twist.Described by her followers as having elements of Björk, Kate Bush, Suzanne Vega, and Goldfrapp, all wrapped into a tiny, artistic explosion, BRUCH is a purveyor of curious, electronic sounds, multi-layered cello and vocals, and eclectic melodies. A proud owner of her Asperger’s Syndrome, BRUCH is completely self-produced, and 98% of the sounds you hear in her music are created entirely by her. BRUCH’s music is like nothing else. Her latest single, ’We Don’t Care About You’ is a narrative on today's sociopolitical affairs, the climate crisis & lack of action on a corporate & governmental level. It is a protest against abuse of power & a cry for voices to be heard. BRUCH is a passionate advocate for individual responsibility and group impact in the fight against global warming and ecological breakdown, and at nineteen years old, has recently been awarded the 2019 RoundTable Global Youth Award for Environmental Innovation for her awareness work for the climate through her music, and her new initiative, ‘The Solution’ which aims to inform and encourage every one of us to take action, no matter how small, towards improving our planet and protecting it for future generations.BRUCH’s music is regularly snapped up by BBC Introducing for their Saturday night show, to great acclaim from both the host, Stephanie Nieuwenhuys, and the show’s audience, and she performed a two-song Live Lounge and interview for them in August. One of the live tracks, Tortoise Skin, was from her recently released EP, Autis, which takes listeners on a multi-faceted journey through her autistic creativity. During the five-song EP, the audience journeys from ambient, hypnotic moments into bass-driven, thunderous tribal drumming, all accentuated by her multi-layered cello sections. Her track, Ley Lines, was chosen from over 200 tracks by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and his Fresh on the Net Team, and named Record of the Week by BBC Introducing Solent.Recent performances include Isle of Wight Festival, BBC Introducing Stage Winchestival, BBC Introducing Live, BBC Introducing Winchester, the Great Escape, Rhythmtree, Hastings Fat Tuesday, Kashmir Fringe, Lionfest, Spectra Aberdeen, plus Live Lounge sets and interviews for BBC Introducing (Radio Solent) and Eagle Radio (Surrey and Hampshire). She has supported Sudan Archives, Syd Arthur, ERiKA, Scouting For Girls & Lucy Spraggan.
"You have to see her live! She played our stage at Winchestival this summer, and she's so captivating when she performs."Steph Nieuwenhuys | BBC Introducing
"...An eagle-high voice that was experimental enough to sound as if it was jetting into silver-bird territory one moment, before getting cleverly husky & sophisticated ‘n’ clubby the next. This was gorgeous jazz-pop with acidic soft-centres."Neil Mach | RAW RAMP
"It's just one of the best 'In Session' performances I've ever heard... the vocals from BRUCH are just amazing...." Jack Johnson - EAGLE RADIO Live Lounge
"Amazing! ...Your commitment to the performance is captivating!"Kieron Pepper (The Prodigy [97-07], Radiophonic Workshop)
"... Unusual timbres and textures, ultimately an accompaniment to her striking and distinct voice which swoops, soars and drops to a whisper surrounded by ethereal harmonies and interplay while the music changes mood and tempo at the drop of a hat."Neil March | Trust-The-Doc
